Charles R. Foster papers, 1967-2000.

Charles Foster's papers document his career in Christian education, focusing on his years at Candler School of Theology. The papers include curricula vitae; annual reports on professional activities; class notes, syllabi, and bibliographies; drafts and copies of published articles; lecture notes, transcripts of speeches, and a few subject files. There is one videocassette with a taped sermon by Foster, and several audio recordings of lectures and sermons (both published and unpublished). The papers contain very little information about Foster's teaching and other professional activities in his years at the Methodist Graduate School in Ohio and at Scarritt Graduate School. Material on Foster's published books is also scarce.
